The Journal of Dentistry: Educational Technology Section aims to promote the development and use of educational technology in dentistry through the publication of peer-reviewed dental education software, World Wide Web (WWW) sites and related articles. The Journal appeals to an international readership of clinicians, educators and students with an interest in keeping abreast of developments in the use of educational technology in dental education and learning.

The Journal of Dentistry: Educational Technology Section invites submission of software and manuscripts that address issues and practices relevant to the use of technology in dental education and learning. In particular, the Journal offers academic authors of educational WWW sites and computer aided learning programs recognition of their scholarship through refereed publication. Such programs may be aimed at undergraduates, practising dentists, dental related staff or dental patients. Other topics will include courseware evaluation, learning assessment; school experiences and profiles; implementation; development and delivery tools.
