It would appear that the world of security management, like other fledgling professions before it, is waking up to the need to train and educate its workforce to recognised vocational and academic standards. Demand equals supply and consequently security training and education is now a growth sector. The aim of this paper is to critique security training and education before reviewing what 'products' are on offer.
