The new journal Autoimmunity Reviews will publish expert
and timely peer-reviewed updates on the most exciting events
in autoimmunity. The scope will span the entire breadth
of autoimmunity, from fundamental reserach e.g. pathophysiological
mechanisms, genomics, and proteomics), to clinical practice
(e.g. novel therapies and clinical associations).

Correlates of Infection and Protection
FEMS IMMUNOLOGY AND MEDICAL MICROBIOLOGY
has recently made some adjustments to the Aims and Scope
and is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Alex van
Belkum (Rotterdam, The Netherlands) in the position of joint
Chief Editor of the journal.
Alex van Belkum will be Chief Editor for medical microbiology,
concentrating on correlates of infection. The current Chief
Editor, Dr. Loek van Alphen (Bilthoven, The Netherlands)
will be Chief Editor for immunology, concentrating on correlates
of protection. This will ensure that the very broad scope
covered by FEMS IMMUNOLOGY AND MEDICAL MICROBIOLOGY is optimally
supported.
