Congestion charging and transport economics

On February 17, 2003, London’s Congestion Charging scheme began operation. The start of this ambitious experiment is an appropriate time for us to alert you to the wealth of transport economics research to be found in Elsevier’s transport publications.

This email is the first of what is intended to be a regular series of alerts, which we are calling Current Readings in Transport Economics (CRTE). This will be a free service, emailing you lists of recently published transport economics articles from a range of journals, four times a year. You can view abstracts to these articles or, if your institute subscribes to ScienceDirect®, link directly to the full text. If you wish to continue receiving these emails, please fill in the box below and press send. If we do not hear from you, you will not be included on the CRTE mailing list.

We open CRTE by listing a year's worth of papers published throughout 2002. Heading the list is an entire special issue of Transport Policy devoted to Road Pricing.

Yours sincerely
