Current Readings in Transport Economics Vol.4, No.4, 2006

This quarter has seen the publication of the US Department of Transportation’s Strategic Plan for 2006-2011. It spells out five strategic goals: Safety; Reduced Congestion; Global Connectivity; Environmental Stewardship; and Security, Preparedness and Response.

With the exception of the last, I am pleased to say that economic aspects of all these important areas are addressed by the latest batch of papers presented here in CRTE 4-4.
