Elsevier-EAAP Workshop on the Preparation and Presentation of Papers.
This popular Workshop will again take place on Saturday 31 August 2002 in the excellent facilities of the Agriculture Library of the University which is 15 minutes walk from the Conference venue. Scholarships have been made available for 35-40 scholars the great majority of whom are from the Near East, South Mediterranean and Central and Eastern European Countries. Although previously announced, this symposium will not take place.

Rare Breeds International (RBI).
An RBI Symposium will be held prior to the EAAP Annual Meeting. Short papers and posters are invited. The topic will be concerned with the conservation and sustainable use of animals in arid climates. Anniversary celebration of the International Goat Association (IGA).
